When you purchase our new Faux Suede, you will be making a luxurious bag or pouch that everyone will be the envy of.
The softness of this material with the slight .9mm thickness makes this material domestic machine friendly, allowing even a beginning sewist to create with it. I use a Tex 69 thread with a #14 microtext needle when sewing on this suede. I have even used woven fuse and a thin foam with no problem (see instructions below).
Currently our Faux Suede is available in 5 Rich Colors of – Lightest Rose, Lavender, Eucalyptus, Cocoa and Black. Available in 18″x54″ rolls.

Description

Disclaimer: 1 precut roll is approximately 18″x54″. Each roll has been machine cut by my supplier; you may see a difference in length of 1/8″ – 1/4″.

Interfacing: If you wish to interface the suede for more structure to your project, please follow this: Place suede face down on protected surface, cover place interfacing on back and cover with a Teflon sheet and press on low heat. Do Not leave on the suede more than 10 – 15 seconds (I would opt for the lower time). You can also use the pre-stick interfacing or Carpet Tape – no heat required. If you wish to have a slouchier bag, then no need to interface.
